Group Ride Guidelines

• Please arrive at the launch site with a full tank of gas.

• Ride leaders please allow everyone to establish their position in the ride before the   ride begins.

• Once the ride begins please ride in a staggered formation. Please do not ride side by side with anyone unless that has been previously agreed on. Even then please ride in a staggered position to begin with so the riders behind you can establish theirs.

• Three wheelers please ride in the rear. It is important ride leaders can see the riders in the rear to be sure the group is together. That is much easier with you in the rear.

• Approach all intersections, stop signs, traffic lights and left turns as you would riding alone. Oncoming traffic will not yield to you just because you are riding in a group. No need to make an unsafe move to stay with the group. If you get separated from the group the riders up front will pull over and wait for you at the first safe place. 

• Please be prepared to ride at the speed limit. Riding slower than the flow of traffic can result in auto & truck traffic making unsafe moves to get around you.

•   These are common guidelines used in most group rides. These guidelines are meant to enhance the safety and comfort level of anyone that chooses to participate.
